Coffee for Dummies

Hello Kids,

Yesterday, I was drinking coffee in TSM Bandung. Actually, I'm not a coffee addict nor coffee hater. When I wanna drink some coffee, I usually bought coffee sachets or coffee cans. But sometimes, I have to choose from the coffee shop menu,  I always choose cappuccino. Why I choose cappuccino? because I already taste it and it suit my taste, everybody happy. Simplicity win kids haha.

The story begin when my little "big" brother ask me to choose another taste. I thing this idea is not really bad, because coffee is coffee *yeah I'm newbie*.  So I choose another menu, the list is americano, espresso, macchiato. I choose espresso based on my little knowledge about candies, there are kopiko candies and espresso candies, both of them are good. The second reason is my rule of thumbs coffee is coffee *indeed*.

The result is when the first time I taste it, my eyes were closed, the coffee is greatly bitter.  I looked at the glass and thinking is it the black coffee?? I taste it again and again, why the coffee shop put espresso in that menu!! Finally, I surrender, I give it to your uncle cappuccino and mix it, and of course I ask him to share the cappuccino haha. But, it is to late kids, the great great bitter coffee is still there for several hours.

So I do a little research for your sake, here is my latest knowledge replace coffee is coffee rule of thumbs :

1. Black Coffee "Kopi Item"
You put black coffee and put some water, that is "kopi item"

2. Espresso
They said it is different with black coffee, you have to use coffee machine to push some air into the coffee, but I thing this is will be the same taste with "kopi item" right?

3. Americano
Espresso with a little more water

4. Macchiato
Espresso with some milk on top of that. They said it will protect espresso from the outer contamination. But, when you drink it, which part will you taste first, I still don't get it. May be this is the version of "Kopi Susu" in Our Country.

5. Cappuccino
Mix of coffee, cream, milk, and chocolate with the same composition. is it coffee, milk or chocolate?? I couldn't answer that.

Adit Engagement Day!!

Hello Kids,

The title already told you what will I write in this post. Yess, this is another post about my friend get caught by woman! And Of course when you attended some "get caught by woman" activity you will get this question kids. When? Haha. Yea, I always improvise the answer depend on current trend. My latest answer is "when some girl khilaf and choose me instead of the other man", this answer still effective to make everybody happy. But, you still have to call your mama to find me faster kids!

Back to adit story, adit and I became a friends by some project from Telkom, I am still a student at that time. He is very good at design something, although he is partial color-blind, he could design much much better than your dad. Now he work at startup house called iris. I really like his tagline "Not available in white" and he always proud of it haha.

The one who could seize adit heart is pika. Pika is adit's friends from ten years ago, they already have know each other for that long. And finally they tied the knot with this. The wedding will be held in 6 June 2015.  There are still chance to find your mama.

Merbabu Mountain (3.142 m.dpl) 19-21 September 2014 (Part II)

Hello Kids,

Yesterday, my friend ask me to share tips and trick when I was in Rinjani Mountain. Actually I will write about rinjani mountain. But, I have promises to you, to finish merbabu story.
Yes, please note it, I choose you kids haha. Nah, the main reason is because I don't have any rinjani mountain picture in this laptop. Rinjani is a beautiful mountain kids, you should go there.

Okay, let's talk about another beautiful mountain, in previous merbabu story, I already told you about post 1-3 using Wekas path.

Merbabu have three peaks, from wekas path, the nearest is syarif peak.  The other is kenteng songo peak  and not far from kenteng songo, there are triangulasi peak. We planned to kenteng songo for Summit Attack, from post 3 to kenteng songo could be reached about 3-4 hours. Unfortunately, the situation is not so good at 2 o'clock in the morning. The wind blowing really-really high that night, that are limit when you talk about nature kids, you could't agains it. We are small creature in this world who doesn't worthy to be arrogant.

So instead of kenteng songo, we planned to go to Syarif peak. The track is full of dust with a little bit high altitude, so you have to use your hand to climb the way.

Tired, cold, and sleepy is something that you get when you climb in the morning kids.  But, you don't have to worries about that, we won't leave you there. Human are stronger when together, so what you should do is take one step a head and enjoy the nature. No matter how long it takes, if you take one step forward you could arrived at the peak of the world *cheesy haha*.

After that we go to kenteng songo peak, triangulasi peak, and go back using selo path. Selo path is much much more dusty kids, and hot. These path are full of savanna and some tree near the base selo path. So you should bring eye glasses, masker, and sunblock.

Selo path takes about 5-6 hours. Selo path have some tricky path, because you will see only the nearest hill, be careful if you choose selo path.

Batam Island

Hello Kids,

Do you have visited batam island? Batam is indonesian island nearest to Singapore. If you wanna swim from here to Singapore, I thing you could. It cost about Rp 400.000 for one round-trip from Batam to Singapore using boat.

If you ask me about where you should go in batam, hmm it is really hard to tell you haha.
The transportation is not so good, taxi in here is a little bit expensive, but you could use taxi with angkot taste. Yeah, it happen here, you could use taxi with another customer! it called comprengan.

There are only two or three mall, I went to the biggest mall called nagoya hill batam, and there are nothing special in there. Wops, i forgot, if you went to batam you should buy your mama perfume or some branded bag in here. Because batam is free trade zone, but be careful for fake brand. There are so many 'kw' in here,  you have to got the feeling for that kid.

The hotel, it cost about Rp 500.000 for medium hotel, but if you wanna save your money, you could search for some building with two or three storey building. It cost about Rp 190.000. But it is a little bit cheesy in here haha. There are some girl in the dark place, massage, karaoke and bar.  Nah I would't go out tonight.

No Compromise!

Hello Kids,

Before I forgot,  I will tell  you something useful tonight.
Your grandpa told me, that in this world nothing you have to worry about. There are so many thing in this world that could be compromised. But beware, you have to worry about your hereafter live, because there are no compromise in there.

Here is one of my favorite hadits :

Jagalah Allah, maka engkau akan mendapati-Nya di hadapanmu. Jika engkau memohon (meminta), mohonlah kepada Allah, dan jika engkau meminta pertolongan, mintalah pertolongan kepada Allah. Ketahuilah, bahwa seandainya seluruh umat berkumpul untuk memberi suatu manfaat kepadamu, maka mereka tidak akan dapat memberi manfaat kepadamu, kecuali dengan sesuatu yang telah ditetapkan Allah untukmu. Sebaliknya, jika mereka berkumpul untuk menimpakan suatu kemudharatan (bahaya) kepadamu, maka mereka tidak akan dapat menimpakan kemudharatan (bahaya) kepadamu, kecuali dengan sesuatu yang telah Allah tetapkan atasmu. Get Up!

Hello Kids,

How are you doing? have you exercise today?
If you ask me, of course I have.

Compare to other sports, I do really like running. Why? I don't know exactly why, but I think this sport have the right compositions that fit my body. For me, running means you push refresh button for your body and soul.

But believe me kids, I'm a lazy head person that choose pillow over running shoes, so i wish you Mama like running a bit too,  so she could be my catalyst that push my laziness haha.  

So get up and wear your running shoes Kids!

Teddy's Declaration Day

Hello Kids,

Another post today,

I forgot something important today, because of marriage and house thingy HAHA.
Face it your dad is a lone ranger right now, one by one all my friend get caught by woman, no hangout, no play game, no stay up until the morning.

BUT I'M HAPPY!!

why should i sad when all my friend are happy with their new family, ah damn i forgot about Teddy.

Teddy is one of my friend in senior high school and same major in university.  He work at SAP Consultant in Surabaya. One thing about him, he is very professional when handling women haha.

And today finally he found the one! Congratulation my bro! hope you happily ever after until hereafter haha!

The Limit of Patience

Hello Kids,

Today i will tell you something that your grandpa always told me. Inspired by my friends blog post wait a little longer.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اصْبِرُوا وَصَابِرُوا وَرَابِطُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

Wahai orang-orang beriman, bersabarlah dan lipat gandakanlah kesabaran kalian dan kuatkanlah ikatan kalian dan bertaqwalah pada Allah niscaya kalian menang.

You know what, sometimes this world work not as you planned.  You just have to wait a little longer, pray and work harder. There are no limitation when you talk about patience. you should double it, make it stronger and give the rest to Allah. Keep strong kids, you will be the winner!

Merbabu Mountain (3.142 m.dpl) 19-21 September 2014

Hello Kids,

Today i will tell you about my story in Merbabu. Merbabu is a volcano mountain in central java,  merbabu derived from word "maharu = meru" (mountain) and "abu" = ash. That is really really real kids, there are a lot of dust in merbabu. So if you wanna go to merbabu mountain you should bring eyeglass and masker for your own sake.

Here is sneak a peek about merbabu mountain.

The story begin when we start our journey from bandung railway station. We went to jogja at 08.00 A.M and arrived at jogja in the morning

After that, we go to the first hiking point. We are using wekas track, it is very very cold in there, you don't have to get water from refrigerator if you wanna drink something cold.

After two or three hours walking, we arrived in post 1, the track is not very high, but there are so many cliff on the road, so you have to be careful. 

Within two hours walk  from post 1 you would arrived in Post 2. In here you could refill your water, and make camp.  We eat some snack and pray here, but we wouldn't camp here, because we want to get the sunrise, so it is better camp in Post 3. Beside you could see beautiful sky with beautiful clouds, with beautiful scenery and beautiful (*yeah so many beautiful thing in merbabu), but there are no water in Post 3 , so you have to save your water.

After about 3 hours walking we are at Post 3, in here the wind is so fast, even we could hear some sound from it! buzzz, you could see there is a BTS in here too, so if you wanna check in and say hello to your internet friends you could do here.

Nah, it is already late in here. My laptop said it was 11.55 PM and i am sleepy enough to tell you my story, don't be sad *and i think you wouldn't haha*, i will be come back to tell you my story after post 3!
